Free Presentation and Food Tasting: Telling Florida Food Stories

The Citrus County Historical Society presents “Telling Florida Food Stories” at The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum which includes a free presentation and a tasting.
In this interactive program, Journalist and Author Dalia Colon provides an overview of Florida’s history through the lens of food, from indigenous foodways, to the rise and fall of the citrus industry, to modern sustainability efforts. Enjoy a tasting of Florida foods and come ready to share your own food stories in this energetic and delicious program.
