Free Kids’ Crafternoon: Cattle Puppets

Bring the kids to The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum for a free Kids’ Crafternoon on Saturday, April 11th at 1:00 pm. We’re making cattle puppets!
We’ll give a brief lesson on Florida’s cattle history and start crafting. This no sew hand puppet is made with felt, glue, a stencil and scissors. It is recommended for kids ages 5 and up. Spaces and supplies are limited. Please call to preregister at (352) 341-6428. During your visit, be sure to stop into see our new exhibit, “Florida Foodways: A Taste Through Time,” on local food history including our cattle industry in Citrus County!
