Codes and ciphers have been used for thousands of years to hide strategic messages from prying eyes. Ancient rulers since the time of Julius Caesar used special formulas to keep their messages secure.  Since that time, battles have been won or lost based on the ability to keep messages secret from the enemy.  Join us for a discussion how women contributed to victory in World War II by deciphering secret codes and improving the technology used by our armed forces.

Using the Internet is fraught with hidden dangers from hackers, hacktivists and Nigerian Princes .  Based on Best Practices developed by the FBI and other agencies, we’ll cover some common-sense tips and tricks to help keep your messages and transactions safe and secure while on the Web.
