Dr. Caren Neile is a storyteller and author of Florida Lore. She will perform Short Takes: A Grab Bag of Old Florida Stories, based on her book. From the Ghost of Bellamy Bridge to the Ashley Gang, Florida history is brimming with fascinating characters and memorable events. Enjoy lively interpretations of some of the better-known Florida tales of lovers, criminals, and celebrities.
Dr. Neile teaches storytelling studies at Florida Atlantic University and has performed around the world. She is an author of numerous books and academic journals and co-hosts The Public Storyteller public radio segment.
