DESCRIPTION:Join Alice Herden\, naturalist from Citrus County Parks and Recreation and museum staff for a free Kids’ BioBlitz! Kids and parents will be welcomed to join a nature walk around the town square and be taught how to identify plants\, birds\, insects\, and more! Recommended for kids ages 3 and up. Limited spaces. Please preregister by calling the museum at (352) 341-6428 during office hours between Tuesday and Saturday. We host free children’s activities and events on the first and third Saturdays of each month- the same days as Market at the Depot down the street in Liberty Park in the mornings. Make your Saturday a fun family day out in Inverness!
