SUMMARY:Turtle Trek: A Free Kids' Nature Walk at Cooter Pond
DESCRIPTION:Bring the kids and join our staff from The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum for Turtle Trek- a nature walk around the board walk at Cooter Pond. We’ll meet inside the museum at 10 am. We’re sure to see some birds and alligators. We’ll talk about some of the plants and animals and historic use of the land\, plant and wildlife\, too! This is a free event for kids and families. Spots are limited\, so please preregister by calling our museum office between Tuesday and Saturday at (352) 341-6428. Parental supervision is required for the duration of the event.
